HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE FOR TREATMENT?
You must be over 18 to have most treatments at Aluna Aesthetics; this is in line with our policies and current legislation. If we are unsure of your age legally, we will be obliged to ask you for ID before commencing treatment.
ARE YOU QUALIFIED & INSURED?
Ok, so this isn't a frequently asked question, but we wanted to reassure you anyway - YES, Angie is fully Level 5 qualified as a highly skilled and competent Advanced Practitioner with full indemnity and insurance. With ongoing updates, we are committed to continuing our professional development and ensuring we are providing safe and effective care at our cabin.
WILL I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT TO BOOK?
To book your next treatment at Aluna Aesthetics, you will be asked to secure with a small deposit - this holds your appointment and protects the business income in the unlikely event of a "NO SHOW."
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A CONSULTATION?
Your free consultation is your opportunity to let me in on your treatment desires. Why do you want this treatment? What kind of results are you hoping to achieve? We will also discuss time frames, manage your expectations and recommend accordingly before going ahead.
DO YOU CHARGE A CANCELLATION FEE?
Yes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. The following fees apply:
Less than 24 hours 100%, Full treatment cost.
Less than 2 days, 50% Half treatment cost.
To avoid any charge, please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. No-shows are treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice and will be charged in full.
I'M ON REGULAR MEDICATION - DOES THAT MATTER?
ALWAYS let your practitioner know of any regular /new medications - ensuring you update your medical records each time you attend. This may change your suitability for treatment but safe practice IS best practice.
CAN I BOOK BOTOX/ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENT ON THE DAY?
No. Botox and anti-wrinkle injections cannot be booked and carried out on the same day. This is a legal requirement, treatment can only be administered under a valid prescription, which must be issued in advance.
